Privacy and assessment data
CheckYourIT is operated by Good Helper LLC. It reviews publicly available domain and website information and lets an assessment owner add private answers about business controls.
Public evidence and private answers
Public evidence can be shared through the assessment's public link. Anyone holding an enabled public link can view that evidence. The owner can disable the link or give it an expiration. Contact details supplied to CheckYourIT, private answers, action notes, and readiness reports require the owner session or private recovery link.
What is collected
Assessments store the entered domain, public technical results, collection times, and any private answers or action notes the owner submits. Basic request information, including IP address and browser information, supports rate limits, security, and assessment analytics. Public company pages may identify published business contacts and document metadata.
External sources
Domain and website identifiers are queried through public DNS, registration, certificate, archive, repository, and performance sources. Some sources may be unavailable. Optional AI-assisted reports receive a compact set of evidence and the submitted answers when an AI provider is configured. Raw website HTML is not retained in the completed discovery result or supplied for report narration.
Requested email and monitoring
When you request a report email, 702it receives the disclosed copy. This does not subscribe you to monitoring. Verified monitoring is separately enabled by the owner; optional change notices go only to the selected notification address and can be disabled from that page.
Access and correction
Keep private recovery links confidential. They expire after seven days; a valid owner browser session can request a new email link. To request a correction or deletion, contact hello@checkyourit.com and identify the assessment. Data is retained to provide the assessment and its history until removed through a verified request.
